The new year has always been heralded positively. If you're planning to propose to the love of your life this new year, you're making one of the best decisions in your life.

First, there is the goodness that comes with the newness of the year. Then, your proposal to your partner can mean that they're the only ones that rejuvenate you. Whatever your reason is, having to propose to the person who makes your world swirl at such a loving period is beautiful. If you haven't proposed yet, here are some unique ideas:

Exploit Your New Year Resolution

If you and your partner enjoy sharing your new year resolutions, this is the right time to pop the question. Nothing is as good as having intimate discussions about your future in the year and asking her to marry you. After this, you should plan to have a romantic evening at your favorite spot.

Surprise Messages

Not text messages or emails. Try something more organic like sending her a letter while she's spending the new year holidays with her family. If you're spending it together, place your proposal in places she can see it. For instance, if she always takes coffee in her favorite cup in the mornings, place your paper with the proposal on it. You can also make her breakfast in bed bringing along with you, the engagement ring on the food tray.

A Romantic Day For Two

If you'll like to be away from all of the noise, you can plan a party for two. It will give you both the mood, serenity, and privacy you need to pop the question.

A Trail Of Flowers

This would be perfect, especially if you're not as emotionally expressive. Placing a trail of flowers on the floor for her to follow already sets the mood you would need to ask her to be yours forever.

Make It Adventurous

You can plan a trip during the new year with your partner or go to a resort or an amusement park. There are several places you can ask her to marry you. An instance is you proposing after you're done hiking or when you're having a picnic or exploring the wildlife at the zoo. It's okay to be random and spontaneous because after all, that's what adventures are all about!
