I was just entering college (i.e.) 2nd year of medical laboratory science in 2014, was trying to fit in and cope with the stress. One day a staff introduced me to a masters student and, he was like this is your brother oo from Imo state as well, we exchanged pleasantries and that was it.
Two weeks later we ran into each other at the department and went out for lunch where we exchanged phone numbers and got to know each other a little bit better.
We began chatting occasionally and figured we had pretty much same likes and dislikes, even then I only saw him as a friend as I was currently in a relationship at that time, He began helping me out with the courses I found difficult, we would always meet up for him to tutor me and give me what we call exam 'focusJ'.
“We got closer and he moved gradually from friend zone to brother zone lol”.
Fast forward to February 2016, he asked me to accompany him for his birthday soiree as his girlfriend and I refused. We stopped talking after that and I began to realise that I missed him more and more each day. Then he called one day and I was so happy and excited and that was when I realized that I liked him a lot and we started dating. In March 2019 in the company of friends, he asked me to be his wife and of course, I said yes!!
