Mary & Oriyomi Olaribigbe

Mary and Oriyomi met whilst at university in Bristol through a house mate. Years later they celebrated their 5th anniversary with dinner and a weekend getaway in an exclusive hotel. Without her knowledge Oriyomi arranged to have the room decorated with rose petals and candles before they checked in and popped the question in the room. "Yomi went down on one knee, which is why I said yes…lol" said Mary.

Their wedding took place at Adesba International Hotel. in Abeokuta last month, with vibrant colours pink, orange, purple and gold setting the tone at their engagement and white wedding. The wedding was planned in four months without the help of planner, below is more from Mary.

Anything you will like to share (tips for future brides...etc) - Don't let your parents take over. - Draw up a realistic budget - Have fun!!!!!!

What would you do differently if you could do it again I would have a wedding planner.
