I'm Suspicious Of My Husband And His Cousin

Dear Sugar,

I have a shop where I do nails and hair, so depending on how the market moves, I can be in the shop late. Not until this curfew started where we have to leave before ten p.m that I noticed this issue. My husband's cousin has been staying with us for a few years now. During the lockdown, staying home was tough for my business, but I didn't notice anything then. It was after the lockdown I started seeing somethings. His office has insisted that they work from home for the rest of the year. So, he's always home with his cousin working.

These days, it takes forever for my husband to open the door. Other times, they will be giggling and whispering to each other. I don't understand what is going on and I don't like it. The last one was when they were both in the kitchen. I decided to go inside just to see what is happening, and my husband quickly excused himself. While he was rushing, I noticed he had a hardon. How do I approach this?

S.L

Dear S.L,
It's normal to suspect your husband and his cousin especially since they seem to have grown closer. However, these haven't confirmed suspicions that your husband is cheating.

For example, getting a hardon can sometimes be uncontrollable. He may have moved away because he felt embarrassed, not necessarily because he is lusting on his cousin. The closeness may be based on the fact that they're around each other a lot more.

It's quite tricky asking your husband or his cousin about this, especially if you're not close to her. However, it's something that needs to be addressed.

Your first option would be speaking with his cousin. Try showing your worries and concerns without necessarily sounding upset or dismissive. You can apply this when you're speaking to your husband as well. However, if you're not satisfied with their answers, you may need to discuss moving his cousin out of the house or other terms that will give everyone rest of mind.

Wishing you the best of luck,

Sugar
