6 Mistakes Your Wedding Guests Are Likely To Make

When you're close to your wedding date, there's quite a lot of things that may come up. One of the unavoidable ones are guests who aren't so keen on wedding etiquettes. In this article, we will be showing you the possible mistakes your guests will make at your wedding. Sometimes, these happen innocently; most of them unaware of the fact that they are making a mistake:

Asking Or Bringing an Uninvited Guest

Especially when your invitation card clearly states they come alone, guests are bound to make the mistake of asking or bringing an uninvited guest. If this will bother you, discuss with parties involved and maintain your stance on only hosting the invitees. Another option is getting a security team to help sort out discrepancies that may occur on your wedding day.

Coming Late

A lot of your guests will likely be late for your wedding ceremony or may likely only come for your reception. Expect that your ceremony will have lesser guests than your reception. In that case, you can decide to host your wedding ceremony at the same venue as your party. If your card states that you start by noon, start 30 to 45 minutes after. That way, you will have a lot of your guests seated and ready. If you have guests that come at a later time, you should designate ushers who will quietly take them to their seats.

Having Too Many Drinks

A lively atmosphere can quickly change into an embarrassing experience for guests who have had too much to drink. If you're a little concerned about them, get someone who can watch over them. If you know they drove to the wedding, make sure someone else drives them home.

Requesting Songs

Some of your guests may not be content with your playlist and you see them motioning towards the DJ. If you do not like this idea, agree on certain songs you don't want the DJ to play, rather than fume over this inevitable instance.

Calling the Couple For Everything

Yes, you and your spouse will be bummed by several guests asking you questions about accommodation, transport amongst others. To sort this, create a team that will help sort out every pending question asked by your guests.

Forgetting to Send RSVPs

Whether it is through emails, phone calls or text messages, guests tend to forget to respond to their invitations. Again, you can set up a team that will call them or sends a reminder when the time is due.
