Home-Made Remedies For Dandruff

andruff is the shedding of dead cells from the scalp. It is a condition of the scalp that causes flakes of skin to appear; it often causes itching.
Dandruff is a common scalp disorder which affects almost half of the population at the post-pubertal age and of any sex and race.
This condition can be embarrassing and hard to treat, but there are home remedies that can adequately treat this condition below.

-    Yoghurt
It is a good source of probiotics, and this can be achieved through boosting the friendly bacteria inside our digestive system which can help reduce the yeast within our bodies. Yoghurt is one of the best sources of friendly bacteria, and it prevents scaling of the scalp. Make sure you apply fresh yoghurt in order to get the desired result.
Apply the yoghurt to your scalp and leave it on for about 15 minutes. Rinse your hair, and wash again using a small amount of shampoo.

-    Orange peel
This also helps to get rid of dandruff because it contains acidic properties that contribute to reducing excess oil on the scalp. You can apply it after bathing in the morning. Get a few dry orange peel and 5 table spoons of lemon juice. You can go ahead and place the orange peels and lemon juice into a food processor. Blend the ingredients till you get a smooth paste.
Gently apply the paste to your scalp and leave it on for about 30 minutes and rinse it off with shampoo.

-    Coconut oil
Coconut oil pierces deep into the epidermis and works from within. It can regenerate properties that can help treat dandruff because it contains medium-chain fatty acids.
Apply coconut oil mostly in the morning immediately after your birth.
Wash your hair with shampoo and dry it properly, avoid using a conditioner. Apply the coconut oil directly to your scalp and leave it on for a few minutes. Then wash your hair thoroughly with water.

-    Olive oil
Olive oil nourishes the dry area of the scalp which help prevents dandruff. Olive oil is easily absorbed into the thick and scaly areas of the scalp that cause constant dandruff issues. As a result of this, the scaly areas fall away as one large piece instead of separate flakes. This helps put an end to dandruff as the affected spot can finally heal.
You can apply olive oil to your scalp before going to bed and wash it in the morning.
