Eniola and Abdul

Eniola and Abdul Alebiosu recently marked their engagement with a beautiful celebration at the Welcome Centre, Ikeja splashed in shades of peach and champagne gold. The event took about a year to plan and they elected not to use a wedding planner.

Rewind their story two and a half years, they met at a mutual friends' birthday party, a friendship blossomed and a little over a year later they became an item. About a year into their relationship Abdul proposed.

"...Abdul took me out for a casual dinner at Gaucho, a rather exclusive restaurant in the heart of London. He suggested we went to a bar to end the night, to my surprise as we stepped out of the restaurant, waiting was a limo with the driver standing by the door ajar. He asked me to step in and he proposed in the limo on bended kneesā€¦.I said yes and we then went on to a beautiful 5 star hotel facing the river Thames in canary wharf. Brilliant!.."

Eniola's advice to future brides?
Pray and hope for loving parents and in-laws. And also do not let the planning of your wedding overshadow the ultimate goal, as there are times it can be stressful whilst trying to get things together, the important thing is that you get to spend the rest of your life with the one you love.

What would you do differently if you were to do it again?
Nothing!
