Colour Inspiration: Shades of Green

Green is a many varied colour. Sometimes, it can get confusing. When you say green, what shade of green do you mean? In this article, We have two very similar shades of green to consider.

Jade
The first is jade. Named after a gem, which is tied to Chinese culture and mythology, the colour jade goes well with a lot of other colours - pink, white, ice blue, grey, and yellow to name a few. It allows for so many colour mixes and if you want to go for more than a two tone wedding without that oh so garish clash, then jade is the colour for you. For such an exotic colour, it is quite sublime and will lend an air of coolness to your wedding. Pretty yet not frilly, even men will find this colour appealing so don't be scared to tell him.

Teal
Teal could be considered Jade's non identical twin. They are that similar. Teal can be paired quite beautifully with other colours like red, orange, pink, ice blue, and grey. Red, orange and pink really make it pop, while blue and grey cool it down. Teal can be paired with the same colours as jade but make sure you pick the right shades of those colours, as teal is a lighter shade than jade.

Now, can you tell the difference between the two shades of green? Take a look at our gallery, and let us know which you prefer.
