Bisola and Tokunboh

When Bisola first met Tokunboh thirteen years ago through mutual friends, neither one of them thought it would lead anywhere as they were both dating other people. Five years and various chance meetings later, both were single, Tokunboh invited Bisola to his church, she went along again and again. Their feelings for each other grew over various meals, outings and trips together and by the end of the summer they decided they wanted to be more than friends. Seven years later, their relationship changed gears when Tokunboh proposed to Bisola.

“...On the way to the airport in August 2009 for my dads birthday in Nigeria, he said he had to do something important at home quickly before we left, so on getting to his, he started telling me how much he cared for me, loved me and I was his best friend and better half. He then went on his knees and opened a box with this beautiful ring and asked me to marry him. I said yes yes yes!...” - Bisola

Their engagement and winter wonderland wedding reception took twelve months to plan with the help of planning outfit, Spring Events.
